The second part of our winter journey across the Alps will have us crossing the largest glacial area in Europe including the famous Concordia Platz and the Aletsch glacier. On the way, we will climb some of the massif’s most beautiful summits such as the Abeni Flue, Finsteraarhorn and the Gross Fiescherhorn. The arrival on the Grimsel Col with the North faces of the Schreckhorn and Lauteraarhorn dominating the Aar glacier will be a momentous part of this tour, signalling the end of this traverse to almost 4000 m.
