GRAN PARADISO TOUR - VAL D'AOSTE. LEVEL 3
The Gran Paradiso massif is famous for a variety of reasons: the beauty of its scenery, its exceptional fauna, the equal welcome of its refuges’ keepers, and its unforgettable ski descents. It is one of our favourite tours as it is always a pleasure to see Angello at the Vittorio Sella refuge, Raymond at the Victor Emmanuel, and to savour a good « grolle » in the evening after a superb day. Once having reached the col of the Grand Paradis we traverse the entire south side in all its wilderness and mystery, penetrating the intimacy of this massif of such enormous scale. Without ever being very difficult, this tour is nevertheless physically demanding with daily stages of more than 1000m. Not to be missed!
