Mont Blanc

Mont Blanc

Since Jacques Balmat first summited Mont Blanc in 1786, the highest mountain in western Europe has attracted alpinists from all over the world.  There are several routes to the top, and several ways to get there.  Odyssee Montagne offers you the chance to climb in crampons, or on skis.  Either way the challenge should not be underestimated.  Both ways require excellent fitness, top physical condition, determination and tenacity.

In order to maximise your chance of achieving this goal, our Mont Blanc courses are between 4 and 6 days which will allow you to achieve the necessary technical skills and also importantly to acclimatise.  If you want to summit Mont Blac on skis, you must already be a good off piste skier with ski touring experience, capable of climbing 1700m in one day.

All our Mont Blanc itineraries include a stay at the Gouter refuge, the Cosmique refuge or the Grands Mulets refuge.
